Not a great tailgating spit anymore since it’s mostly garages. But…..there’s an AWESOME Shakedown!!!

No tailgating. Bend is a pretty pristine town that likes to keep things that way. Lots of options to grab drinks and food before the show. Crosscut Warming Hut, Brown Owl, Immersion Brewing, Crux Fermentation Project are all good options for a pre show adult beverage.

Nothing huge since shows usually are happening in the winter when it’s cold outside, but people can hang by their cars and drink and smoke if they’d like to.

Check out the Pearl street pub, Avanti, or license #1 before the show. This isn’t a tailgating venue.

Best to be done in the paid lots. Don’t do it outside. This place is the ghetto and gets dangerous especially after dark.

Not sure, never seems to be that cool but I’m sure it’s fine. Not epic or anything. I’ve been to a lot of shows there in the winter, too. Lots of the good acts play here when the weather is cold and Red Rocks isn’t an option. So that probably affects the scene. But last Billy Strings shows there the little plazas in the walk to A Loft were PACKED with people filling up balloons. Must have been a birthday party going on….

Explore the parking lot and get there early for sure! Tailgaters heaven. I haven’t missed many Panic shows at Red Rocks in the last 23 years, and have seen many other awesome shows there and the tailgating scene is like no other. It’s beautiful, there are legit trails to explore and people love these shows as much for the pre-game as the show itself. I’d give yourself a few hours to hang out before the show. It can also take a long time to get up the ramp or stairs, so just be ready for that. But absolutely bring a cooler of some bevys, maybe a frisbee or yard game, and hang out in the lot for a good space of time, particularly on a sunny beautiful day. Weather can turn fast, so be ready for that (I’ve seen porta-potties blow away up there, for real).

There’s definitely a tailgating scene at Red Rocks, though vending is not allowed. There will be some vending around but people will be pretty discreet about it as venue security is not that cool about it. It’s a good place to toss a frisbee around and drink some bevvies with your friends. You are not really allowed to leave your car in the parking lot over night, though I know some folks who have done it recently without issue.

Looks like there was a lot across the street, but there isn’t a large amphitheater parking lot king of situation here.

Didn’t have any lot. No vending or otherwise prior to the show.

We’ve never tailgated before a show, but intermission and after the show you’ll probably be out there with the band. It’s not a big place.

We were drinking adult beverages in line during the day and there was no hassle. There was lots of vending going on near the line all day and nobody seemed to get hassled. There must have been a lot of dentists in the vicinity because there was a lot of nitrous balloons being sold everywhere. People were selling beers, pre rolls, pins, shirts, you name it.

We usually go to the Loon which is just around the corner. Not really a “tailgated” venue.
