Bag Policy:
All patron points of entry include a bag check. Patrons are encouraged to travel light but, if you do have bags or packages with you, plan for the entry to take a few moments as the staff inspects bags.
You may bring your own food and beverages into Ting Pavilion, but glass containers or outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited. All outside beverages must be in a factory-sealed container- no water bottles or other refillables. All bags and containers are subject to search, so please make sure that you don’t have any glass or alcohol or else it will be confiscated and thrown away.

Parking:
There is no onsite parking. Patrons are recommended to park in the Water Street Parking Garage (100 and 200 blocks of East Water Street) which is a very short walk to the Pavilion. There is also a smaller garage at 550 E Market Street which will almost always have ADA spaces even if the rest of the spaces are full. The garage charge $2 an hour with the first hour free. You can always try your luck to find a free on street space but we can almost always guarantee you will find a spot in the Water Street garage. You can reserve a space in either garage with the ParkMobile app using the ‘online parking reservations’ link below.

Public Transit:
Get to Downtown Charlottesville from the University of Virginia Corner and UVA Grounds with the FREE trolley.
The FREE trolley services CAT and University Transit Service stops along its route every 15 minutes on Monday through Saturday.
On Sunday, FREE trolley service is every 30 minutes in the morning, and every 45 minutes in the afternoon. The last trolley leaves the Downtown Transit Station at 11:30 PM on Monday through Saturday, and at 5:00 PM on Sunday.

Search Policy:
Patrons will be asked to pass through our metal detectors after emptying their pockets of any metal objects. Patrons may opt for a pat down inspection should they choose.
ADA Accessibility:
Ting Pavilion is accessible to handicapped patrons. The entire venue is ADA accessible and they have a ramp from the concession level down to the seating area. Staff will always be glad to assist if you need any assistance.
