Bag Policy:
Guests may bring in one soft-sided bag per person, not to exceed 16”x16”x8”. No coolers are permitted. All bags and containers are subject to inspection by security prior to entering the venue.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
Parking:
Follow this link below to complete Ace Parking calendar of pre-paid parking reservations dedicated to concert events at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. (Patrons will initially be asked to create a separate login/password for the “spACE” website to purchase this advance parking. All parking barcodes will be sent by Ace to the login address.)
Drive-up parking may or may not be available on the day of the concert. If available, it may be significantly more expensive than the advance parking price.
Before and after every concert, there will be shuttle transportation running patrons to and from the Hilton Bayfront Parking Structure at Harbor & Park Blvd. Concert site dropoff and pickup for these buses is at the same point: the NW edge of the traffic circle adjacent to The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park’s patron entrance. These shuttle runs begin 30 minutes before our gates open for any concert event and proceed up to concert time. Shuttle runs back to the structure begin just after the concert concludes.
Parking Information and/or Reservations
Public Transit:
Take the Metropolitan Transit System Green Line trolley to the Convention Center Station stop. Cross Harbor Drive and look for the footpath found between the Convention Center and the Marriott Hotel. From there it’s just a short walk to The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park entrance. As you walk SW down the walkway and emerge on the other side, The Rady Shell is towards your left just down the Embarcadero footpath. (The Special Event Line also stops at the Convention Center stop on Game and Special Event Days such as Comic-Con weekend.)
For those traveling from Hillcrest, North Park, the College area or SDSU, take the Rapid 215 and then transfer at Santa Fe Station to the Green Line Trolley. For those traveling from the North side of the city and county, take the Rapid 235 and then transfer at Santa Fe Station to the Green Line Trolley.
Bring your MTS receipt for getting to the concert and get a special $6 MTS discount on a ticket purchased at the Rady Shell Box Office.
On Shell concert evenings you can take the Coronado Ferry from the Coronado Ferry Landing to the Convention Center landing (WEST Gate), just steps away from Jacobs Park.

Pickup/DropOff Spot:
Dedicated ride-share drop off and pick-up location near the shuttle pickup near the Bayfront Hilton on Marina Park Way. An ADA-accommodating shuttle will always be available on this run. 222 Marina Park Way is the “Uber/Lyft” dropoff/pickup address. Please note: Uber or Lyft drivers WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to come into the Shell traffic circle before or after a concert. They should use the Hilton Bayfront designated pickup/dropoff point.
Search Policy:
Wanding will be utilized for all performances at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park and all bags are subject to inspection by Security staff.
ADA Accessibility:
Every section is ADA accessible with designated seats available. ADA seating will tend to be on the most easily accessible, outside edges of each section. ADA seating for both transfer and non-transfer wheelchairs, companion and semi-ambulatory as well as restrooms, are available at each performance, and can be purchased online or through the Ticket Office. Wheelchairs are also available when appropriate to transfer you to your seating. Please notify the Ticket Office in advance at 619.235.0804 for any special accommodation or assistance needs or questions.
Assistive Listening System in place for Rady Shell concerts. House staff will be assist with check out of a listening unit plus headphones.
There is limited accessible parking, but it is not sold in advance from Ace Parking. The driver of the vehicle must be displaying a valid disabled placard to access this lot with concert tickets. When these spaces become full, eligible patrons will be directed to an overflow disabled lot nearby. As required by law, there are a limited number of free disabled parking spots in the peninsula lot, but these are often occupied by users of the public park and fishing pier on the Embarcadero.
Please note: the shuttle run between Bayfront Hilton pickup point and The Shell entrance will always contain at least one ADA-equipped shuttle bus.

The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, through its expanded culinary program The Shell Provisions, offers a wide variety of fresh, locally sourced options ranging from casual to upscale. Its partners feature some of San Diego’s most talked-about favorites, including Chef Richard Blais, Urban Kitchen, Biga, Lola 55, Kitchens for Good, Wicked Popcorn, and Cali-Cream. Chef Blais returns with an updated “Blais by the Bay” pre-order menu for the Marina and San Diego Row sections. Blais Picnic Boxes are available for pre-order in the Marina, San Diego Row, and Parkside sections. In addition to these offerings, a limited “on-site” menu will be available from seats in the Marina, San Diego Row, and Parkside sections. Furthermore, tacos, pizza, burgers, salads, and vegetarian, vegan, and Mediterranean specialties will be available in the Prebys Plaza Dining Pavilion and Market from local partners.
Other Venue Info:
The Rady Shell is a cashless environment. The Port of San Diego has designated Embarcadero Marina Park South (including Jacobs Park) as a Non-Smoking Area. This means that no lighted pipes, cigars and/or cigarettes (tobacco or…otherwise) are allowed in any part of the Park, including The Shell.
