Venue Info, Features and Facilities
Bag Policy:
For your safety, all guests and their bags are subject to inspection before entry.
This inspection may include the use of metal detectors.
In addition, no large bags are allowed including backpacks and large purses 12 or more inches deep.
Small clutch purses are STRONGLY recommended.
For family shows that allow very young children, diapers bags are allowed for guests with infants and toddlers (child must be present).
Parking:
Parking is convenient at DPAC with five parking decks surrounding the center. In total, there are over 4,500 parking spaces within 1/10 to 3/10 mile from the center.
Public Transit:
DPAC is located at 123 Vivian Street in the American Tobacco Historic District in Downtown Durham and is served by several nearby public transportation options. We’re a short 5-10 minute walk from Durham Station, which is the central transportation hub for all GoDurham and GoTriangle transit buses and from Amtrak’s Durham Station.
Pickup/DropOff Spot:
DPAC offers a drop-off and pick-up area directly in front of our entry doors on Vivian Street. Limousines, buses, and cars will be allowed to drop-off and pick-up in this area, but vehicles are not permitted to park there.
