All bags above this size MUST BE CLEAR and no larger than 14″x14″x6″ with a 2-pocket maximum. Clutches and clear bags are subject to search. Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted, but subject to search.

All outside food, beverages, coolers, bottles, cans, ice chests, thermoses or containers of any kind are prohibited and may not be brought into Enmarket Arena. Possession of these items may be grounds for ejection from the arena. Items for children such as baby bottles, formula, etc., will be allowed.

John Paul Jones Arena

Clear Bag Policy: Attendees will only be able to carry the following style and size bag into the John Paul Jones Arena:

-A bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and does not exceed 12”x6”x12”
-A one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
-One small clutch bag, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken to the event with one of the clear plastic bags.

All other bags will not be permitted. A list of prohibited bags includes, but is not limited to: purses, backpacks, drawstring bags that are not clear, briefcases, coolers, fanny packs, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, binocular cases, and diaper bags.

Koka Booth Amphitheatre has enhanced its public safety policies regarding bags and purses allowed in the venue including clear bags. Clear bags are easily searched and significantly reduce faulty bag searches. They also support the Department of Homeland Security’s “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign. Our goal is to create a safe experience for all guests and staff.

The Bag Policy varies based on the event you are attending. Please visit the event page (event you are attending) for a visual, measurements and explanation of the Bag Policy for that event.
We recommend packing as light as possible. We encourage guests to leave bags/purses at home. Bags will be inspected prior to entry.

Van Andel Arena

Van Andel Arena has adopted a No Bag policy, permitting no bags, backpacks or purses, other than those required for medical or parenting needs, into the venue. Small clutches no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 2″ will be permitted. Bags in the medical/essential category will be screened by security personnel. Guests with parenting/medical bags must enter through the ADA/Box office entrance located on the far west side of the main entrance of the building to undergo additional security screening.

Drinking fountains can be found throughout the venue. Refillable water bottles are not permitted into the building.

Allstate Arena

Guests are encouraged to not bring bags. If guests wish to bring a bag, it must meet the criteria below. Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″.
One-gallon clear plastic Ziploc-style bag. These bags are still subject to search.
Clutch bags that do not exceed 7.5″ x 5.0″ (approximately the size of a hand).
Diaper bags (with child) after inspection.
An exception will be made for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection. Fans will be asked to either return prohibited items to parked vehicle or dispose of prohibited items at the gates.

Cans, metal/glass/plastic containers, bottles, or flasks and outside food and/or beverages are prohibited

Rupp Arena
